Overview
Beast Academy is the new elementary-school math curriculum from Art of Problem Solving. Beast Academy provides a full, rigorous, and entertaining curriculum for aspiring math beasts ages 6–13. The series consists of four two-book sets for each level. The Guide book of each set presents the lessons and the Practice book provides exercises and problems to reinforce the lessons.
8 books set of Beast Academy series for grade 2, including Guide 2A/2B/2C/2D delivers complete lessons to the students of Beast Academy in an engaging comic-book style. The companion books, Practice 2A/2B/2C/2D, provides nearly hundreds problems each ranging from introductory level exercises to very challenging puzzles and word problems to reinforce the lessons in the Guide.
Beast Academy 2A covers the following topics:
Place Value : Digits, ones, tens, hundreds, breaking and regrouping, adding and subtracting 1, 10, or 100.
Comparing : The number line, distance, consecutive numbers, using , ordering numbers.
Addition : Sums, place value strategies, counting up, adding and taking away, doubles, making 10's and 100's, friendly sums.

Measurement : The measurement chapter focuses on length and includes using a ruler, estimation, customary and metric units, conversions, mixed measures, and adding and subtracting measurements.
